ePortfolios: Tracing Student Pathways for Lifelong Learning

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Measuring student success throughout an academic experience requires the selection of a tool that has the capability to measure various stages and evolve. One way to achieve this is through the use of an ePortfolio, which is a software application, a technology service, a multimedia résumé, a social network, a lifeline to alumni, an instructional strategy, an assessment method, and a collection of artifacts that elucidates and chronicles a student’s journey of learning and self-discovery. This session will discuss how CSU’s system-wide ePortfolio system (Portfolium) can help individual courses and academic programs achieve institutional goals across the lifespan of our students, and how campus technology service providers can facilitate strategic and productive cross-campus collaboration.
